Happy Monday all. This is a further tweaked version of a citra IPA ive been messing around with. It was originally 50/50 citra/centennial, but then I moved it more citra forward and liked it a lot. I want to experiment with galaxy and see if that keeps the juicy citrus forward while adding a different presence (Im bored of using centennial in my IPAs).

The original malt backbone was too sweet with the crystal I had used so I wanted to tweak that a bit. I am aiming the light burnt orange color I love for some reason. I have yet to achieve that in previous variants, but I have heard the Munich will help as well as victory.

What do you guys think? Is this balanced enough with the grain?

Looks a lot like my Ipas except I use a clean bittering hop like Magnum or warrior. Looks good to me though

Only criticism I can find is that I wouldn't dry hop for 7 days. I've found that more than 5 tends to pull more veggital astringency out.

Good to know! I hadn't heard that before. If thats the case, I might be kegging my BIPA tonight then haha. Thanks :mug:

In retrospect I should have named it Critique my IPA..
