so now i have 5 lbs of hops. any recommendations on a foodsaver?
good news, they replied to my last email. They said they were really sorry the first payment request didn't show up and they would issue a second one. This second one i got and the bank should transfer funds to my pp account first thing tomorrow. Looks like i'm finally getting those hops, I can already taste the amarillo!
this. i got mine on ebay for $27 shipped and it included a bunch of bags (including a roll of them). works perfectly.Look for a used one. I paid like $20 for my used one and it does just fine. New ones are like $150.

too funny - me too! neighbor caught a deer for us last fall, we're still digging our way out of all that meat. between the venison and the hops it's a good thing we have a basement and a chest freezer.+1. Except venison instead of beef![]()
yup - 12.9% could have been a previous batch/year, or a typo, who knows. with those prices and great service, there is no need for any trickery. My Columbus were 13.6%. I brewed with them last night. They smelled good. I'm guessing the website had the wrong info. Could be wrong, of course, but it's such a good company I don't think they'd intentionally mislead people.

I weighed my new orders today--1# 3.3oz of Amarillo, 1# 2.8oz of Glacier. Gotta luv em!
On a related note, anyone use Yakimavalleyhops.com? Their prices are SICK... So much so that I hesitate to order without references. (no, I am not in any way affiliated... Just a hophead trying to save a buck or ten!)
I got to weigh my 3lbs of hops today, 18.2, 18.6, 18.1 ounces. Nice...almost 7 oz's of extra bonus hops!
