Yup, small gifts go a long way. The only decent bottle shop I can go to is in NC, 90 minutes from here. It's nice to be able to get limited stuff two weeks after it sells out.

The shops in Philly are far too busy for this to work. There is one shop where he might hold a bottle for me but these places move beer so quickly.

For example, KBS this year, every year prior I could always get a 6 pack. This year, all 3 of my bottle shops out them on shelves at 11am and they were gone by 2pm when I showed up.

Funny you mention them...we just receiwvd our first shipment of tallgrass yesterday. So looks like I can grab them anytime now, and looking forward to it.

allagash makes some really great brews besides the fv13 (which is very hard to get); odyssey aged in oak barrels, Interlude aged in red wine barrels with brett, curieux

True! Odell has a few good ones - lugene, meddler, shenanigans, deconstruction, amuste.

Crooked stave has some great beers - wild wild brett violet was just released. There is some good stuff coming out of Elevation Brewing too. Can't wait for signal de botrange to come out again. Prairie Artisan Ales is now available in Denver and I have been really enjoying their stuff too. Oh, and anything from Avery's barrel release series.
