I just use the bathroom scale. Weigh myself, then myself holding the box. USPS gives discounts for doing it online. FedEx does not but it is so easy to pay online and just drop it at a ship site. No waiting!

I've got this one. It's been really helpful when weighing grain and also if splitting a sack of grain. I've been using it for weighing my eMAWs for shipping. Also works well for weighing luggage you're going to check!

I managed a few good brews that way before I got a real scale but I have no clue if I hit my numbers though. Those days are behind me now lol.

$40, ouch! It was $16, ive never paid more then $25 i think, but im right in the middle also.

I shipped a 10# box to Clint in Montana for $40. That was the LAST time I used UPS.

Yeah i stopped using them awhile ago. They are pretty pricey. Fedex with an account is the way to go.

I drive a brown truck and ship FedEx...

I switched to fedex and use an online account. I exclusively used UPS until a couple months ago when I sent a bomb to texas and they wouldn''t deliver it because of icey roads. It sat for a couple days, but in the meantime I was seeing pictures in the trade pictures thread of packages being delivered by fedex in the same town as my recipient. Plus, i've gotten delivery estimates from fedex and they sometimes deliver a day earlier. Fedex all the way for me.
