Try living in Mississippi. I do live close enough to Alabama to run over and grab some stuff. I have been trying to get good brews in trades and sit on them hoping that someone will post something I have.

Nate and I are waiting on ours from MedicMang plus we hooked up a trade with Fernsanity over facebook and those should be crossing in the night, plus a MAW that we sent out and I think one is headed our way tomorrow? Let's see can't get my hands on fresh IPAs outside of our locals. No refrigeration in the liquor stores. Therefore we don't get Stone, Russian River, Firestone, Lagunitas...none of that at all. All I really want are some nice fresh IPAs from those breweries and some local IPAs from whoever grants the maw . Never had a Pliny or Three Floyd's Zombie Dust.

I'm going tonight to get a growler o' beer for the eMAW I'm sending out Monday. I know some folks here have experience shipping a growler, but I've never done it before. Any tips or pitfalls I should know about?

I use electrical tape to wrap the lid to give it an extra seal against leaking. Then I wrap it in twice as much bubble-wrap that I do for bottles and then tie it up inside a kitchen garbage bag. Then I will put the growler into its own box that will give it extra protection against crushing and put that into the larger shipping crate. Good luck!

Nuke...I apologize in advance for the wrapping. Like any man I had an idea...let the wife do it. *knock on wood* it should be able to handle most natural disasters or possibly nuclear radiation. Good thing she didn't break out the duct tape.

Awesome, thanks. I don't need to worry about keeping it cold or anything? I'm concerned about the expansion of CO2 as it warms causing breakage.

I don't think so. The only issue I've had from them was when Tired Hands had a batch of defective bottles that just ruptured in the fail point. How far are you shipping it?
