I think I speak for the thread when I say: Tasting notes!

MY first thought, damn good! Its kinda dry, a tad bit acidic, not quite sure if there is brett in this or not. Its not funky though, aroma of a tripel, and pretty clean overall. Again, its damn good :D. Thats about as good at tasting notes as I get haha

I'm a sucker for a coconut beer. Felt like I needed to give it a go.

Kona koko brown is really good. And Goose Island makes a beer with coconut.....can't think of the name....but its great ;)

Yeah, I like the Koko Brown.
And I hate anyone who's ever had the GI beer of which you speak. Only because I've never had it. :p

I like that one a lot. DuClaw's DLF had some really good coconut notes.

List is still up. Early morning bump.

And we've got touch down in San Diego! Now I just hope everything made it through the journey

Dude... Wow Matthias you rock. I squealed when I saw raspberry tart and buffalo sweat. Not to mention hopslam and all the New Glarus I've never had!

Glad you are excited! The lake Louie is a limited release from this fall/winter so its got a little age on it, its a little known brewery and should tolerate more age pretty well.

I happened to have some vbbs, which is a personal favorite, so sent that along, same with the founders.

Probably drink the hopslam soon, fresher the better with that one!

Let me know what you think of the raspberry tart. I haven't had it yet but just got a bottle delivered for myself this morning... I work with someone who does Wisconsin beer runs for me, since she lives there...

Anyways, I ramble... Enjoy!

Well, I picked up my EMAW. There's good news and bad news. The good news is everything made it okay. The bad news is I am no longer welcome at that FedEx location......because of the freakin bomb SavoryChef sent!!
