Welded up some kegs for a buddy of mine this weekend.

Beautiful as usual lehr. Nice work.
Hey lets see a pic of that bad 67 z !
Maybe you should just travel from town to town welding brewstands and keggles for us. You could probably drink yourself to heaven and back with free homebrew if you took it up.
Great looking welds, what gauge are those tank walls?Welded up some kegs for a buddy of mine this weekend.

What's the tape on the fittings for, not the teflon, are you back purging? Also is the brass to absorb heat and to help distortion? That's what I do, I don't back purge as I don't have a splitter for my regulator.
I wish I were a buddy of yours.
Can you get me a pic of your back purge(back gas) setup? When I did some pipe welding a long time ago, I back purged, but forget how the argon came off of the bottle. Wondering what I have to buy to have back purging capabilities.
Thanks,
Morgan
what size tungsten do you use?
Your are my buddy you just live a long ways away !
Pat
What does the inside weld look like?, is it ground and polished smooth.
I'm closer Pat......=o&o>......
I use 3/32 and it works the best, I have a hard time using 1/8" for anything less the 1/4" thick stock.
