Hi,
I was given a corny keg, and I found some gouges in the bottom. Not light scratches, a couple of deep gouges, but it's still shiny silver all around the bottom. Anyway, you get what you pay for.
I see mixed reviews when I search when I try to determine whether or not to use the keg.
I was thinking I wanted a tank to dry hop in, this may be the keg for the job. I really don't think four days of dry hopping with already fermented beer will cause any issues. I don't intend to age any of the beer either, just dry hop some fresh IPA, transfer to a clean keg and serve.
I'm usually a if-you-have-to-ask-you-know-the-answer kind of guy, but I hate to recycle this tank. Any wisdom?
