I'm just tasting my new batch and most of the bottles that I uses cork stoppers with are flat, no carbonation. I am using the 1 liter bottles that come corked from the store. My problem might be I am reusing the cork stoppers. The stoppers are the cork type with the plastic top.

Can you reuse them? Can you cork these type of bottles to bottle?

Any help would be appreciated.

If I am thinking of the same ones you are talking about, I wouldn't think that they would hold pressure very well if they aren't foiled over... I am sure you can recork the bottles, but you may need new corks, a corker and some wire cages...
