i currently have a can of coopers stout which im going to brew with 500g of dark dme and 500g of light dme. was wondering if adding some molasses would be any good and if so how much? thanks in advance for any possible help
Molasses will most definitely increase OG. Here's a little write up that BYO did on simple sugars including molasses. I'd use it sparingly. Probably a good idea to find some recipe examples rather than winging it.
