Happy New Year!

I found a can of Coopers IPA in my basement and deiced to brew it. After adding the Can of extract, dextrose, and DME I let it ferment for two weeks in a covered bucket with no air lock. According to the instructions it should be ready to be bottle, is that the case?

Proper way to determine if fermentation is complete is to take two gravity readings (separated by a day or two). If both readings are the same and around the expected FG then its done.

I usually don't do this. I leave ales in a temperature controlled chest freezer at 18C for three weeks and then bottle it up. It works for me (so far) but its not best practice.
