cooler question for all grain

if i am doing 5 gallon batches what size cooler would be the best to convert?

A 5 gallon cooler will work but you may find it limiting for some beers. Me personally I wouldn't go with less than a 10 gallon.

yeah i was gunna go with a box style and build a manifold i just dont want the grain bed to be too thin

I have a 10 gallon Igloo that I got on the cheap with a simple SS braid. I don't have any worries about the grain bed with this style of cooler.
