Hello everyone, I recently purchased concentrated apple cider to use in my cider. After checking the ingredients, I noticed that this particular product has ascorbic acid. Is this definitely a no-go for brewing Hard Ciders?

Yea, sorbate prevent yeast from growing.
If you have to use that juice, make a starter for you yeast first, that way the yeast can grow before getting inhibited by sorbates. If you can get even a small bottle of preservative free Apple juice, pitch the yeast into it and let it grow in that for a day or two before adding it to the main batch.
