Good morning,

Years ago my mother in law grew “table grapes”. At the base of the grapes she also grew lavender. The grapes took on a distinctive lavender flavor because of this, they made for delicious snacking.

It got me thinking, since I’m planning on planting a few rows of grapes (Chardonnay, Pinot nior & another white… maybe sov blanc or Pinot blanc).

Any opinions of planting a herb with the 3rd variety? My worry is that the herbal notes may become overpowering after the sugars are fermented out. Also looking for herb suggestions. Lavender was great but maybe mint or rosemary would be tasty too.
