Comcast Interwebz in Midwest

So if your ISP is Comcast and you live in the midwest, it's probably down. If you happen to be addicted to this forum and are checking it out on a mobile device, changing your DNS under network settings to Google's at 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 will fix the problem.

I've been wondering why my internet has been wonky.

Yeah Comcast keeps cutting out over here on the east coast too. Last weekend it was down for 12+ hours and since then it has been cutting out at least once a day for about 20 minutes at a time.

Yes,ame problem that was happening on the east coast a few days ago. This is completely an issue with their DNS, and is really, really easy to fix. If you guys are having problems still, it can literally be fixed in 30 seconds, then you can go watch everyone on Twitter and laugh.

I don't have Comcast, pretty sure it's not even available to me where I live, but I'd like to extend a thank you for making people's lives a little easier.

I've got Comcast and only use 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, 4.1.1.1 & 4.2.2.2. Dns always resolves very quickly for me.
