Just because I think I know what I'm doing does not mean I'm right... :), I may filter though a paper filter after though just to be sure.. Let's see how it turns out... Calling it "Rush Job" either way, and may even be wiling to ship some bottles if it's OK. Either way, it's going to be more expensive than even some of the heavily dry-hopped beers I've made. :(..

Yeah but, HG stouts are an investment whereas IPAs are a liability. Brew on!

Side note, I've brewed my Rhinestone Carboy ~6% stout several times now without cold steeping the dark malts and it's always been drinkable within 2-3 weeks of kegging. I might try cold steeping a batch just out of curiosity, since it has worked so well in the RIS batches I've done.
