Hi All,

Went to my local brewery supply and was about clarifying beer before bottling. Wanted to cold crash and he said if I did, it would lead yeast droping out with the haze and I would ne able to prime at bottling since yeast was gone. Is this true??? Anything I can do to filter at bottling and still be able to carbonate?

I'm amazed at some of the things Homebrew Shop employees tell people...go ahead and cold crash. You'll be just fine.

There will still be enough yeast to carbonate even if you cold crash. It may take a little longer to carbonate than if you did not cold crash. You can add fresh yeast at bottling if you want to speed up the process a bit.
