I'm starting 10 gallon batches so I bought a 60L Speidel fermenter, but the problem is that it barely fits into my current chest freezer and has to be tilted to clear the lid. This would be nearly impossible full of beer. So, I was going to try to fill it up while it's already in the chest freezer and try and push it out with co2 to the keg.

Question is that I won't be able to raise the fermenter at all so will it still transfer if they are both at ground level? If I just leave the spigot on the Speidel facing upward and just tube it to the keg while injecting co2 from the top will this work? Just want to be sure because once I fill it in the chest freezer and this doesn't work it's going to be a rough day.
