I just exceed my budget purchasing items to put a Cold Brew Coffee nitro tap on my keezer. I read that I can convert my CO2 regulator to nitrogen with an adapter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CC27MK/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20).

I placed the order and read up that this is not a good idea for 100% nitrogen. However, my old CO2 regulator I was planning on converting lists Nitrogen on it. Should I just bite the bullet and buy a nitrogen regulator?

I uploaded images of the regulator here: http://imgur.com/a/NQDF1

It's just a CGA fitting adapter you should be fine. The regulator equalizes pressure regardless of what gas is producing that pressure. Because nitrogen is inert you don't have to worry about any packing materials which would be my concern using regulators meant for other gasses.
