Hey guys-

First time kegger here.. I decided to try it out the first time with some rootbeer.. so I have a four keg system with Cobra taps. It came with the CO2 manifold pictured here:

There is a hex bolt on the side of the manifold (Pictured below, left side, on the bottom of the manidolf you will see a black hex screw).. C02 is leaking from here.. I can hear it and I can feel it.. I tightened the screw down as hard as I could, still leaking.. any ideas? Is this supposed to leak?

It shouldn't be leaking, that is just a waste of CO2. Sounds like you should contact the place you got it from and have them replace it unless you want to rebuild it yourself.

I don;t see any sign of Teflon tape on that screw. You could try adding that and it should seal then. Or, return it for a new one.

that a keg connection rig? I had a manifold that looks similar to that one, only it was for dispensing only two kegs. I submerged it under what and got lots of bubbles, clearly a leak. Took it apart, new teflon etc, still couldn't get it to seal.

Once i called keg connection, the owner (i forget his name), was embarrassed that it left the store that way. He made it right right away, sent me a new one etc.

Sometimes they are just drilled wrong.

I'd re-teflon tape that screw, then see if it seals. If it does, no worries. If it didn't , I'd make a phone call and get a new one sent out. No need to get another brand new one if $.02 of teflon tape will fix the problem.
