I need to set up a quick disconnect on the outside of a kegerator. The tank is remote and I’ll need to be able to disconnect the gas line at the kegerator. Any ideas? It’s for a nitro setup and could be pushing up to 40psi

I'm sure that someone like Brewhardware has a fitting that will do this. Somebody here has a keezer where they have QD's connecting the gas on the back of the collar.

Those plastic connects don’t leak anything? Well I guess it’s not really any different than the gas disconnect on the keg...which was gonna be my DIY option but I like the simple in line one

Looking at those plastic ones on Amazon. They have some for camelback drinking tubes. And also some that looks the same but for fuel lines. Fuel injection is more psi than beer...50-60?

I have US Plastic connected right now, I just installed and an hour ago set the PSI to 20 to test and still sitting on 20 psi when connected. The same when disconnected. Co2 valve is shut off as to not keep pressurizing. I ordered 3 One for the manifold with two way split to remove from fridge as manifold is connected to fridge. and another for the second regulator on my regulator so I can quick connect another type of filling for my soda. Think tire valve on that. Nice to have

How about using gas posts and QDs?
This is from my keezer but I have the same thing on each of my three fridges, using the 4" long 1/4" mfl-mfl bulkhead and post adapters...

That was my backup plan if I couldn't find something simple.. I'm just gonna have about a foot of hose sticking out the back and have some kinda coupler on the end

Those braided lines? I've seen them used before but never found any listed for drinking applications...Does the gas line matter If it's "food safe" or is that just how they get you to pay double price?

Those are indeed all gas connections, and the tubing is a Tygon-brand PVC and is food grade rated.
I didn't buy it for the food rating, but the combination of clarity, pressure rating, and decent flexibility when cold.
It's all going to be replaced by the EVA barrier tubing, soon...

Cheers!
