CO2 Hose Size

I can get 1/4"ID air line for $0.36/foot, but I see online where the Gas line (commonly red) is 5/16"ID... As long as all the CO2 line is the same does it matter?

So I guess what I'm asking is 1/4"ID or 5/16" does it matter for Gas line?

It does not matter. I use 1/4" clear line for CO2 because it's easy to find through vendors and the clear line allows me to see if I ever get beer in the line. It's dosen't matter if you use a 1/4" line on half your kegs and 5/16" on the other half. It makes no difference.

Doesn't matter at all. Just make sure it can handle whatever pressure you're putting through it.
