cleaning the lid on an ale pail

well...i just kegged my first brew and i noticed that the lif of my fermenter is a pain to clean. the bucket was so easy, but this lid took forever. can i just put it in the dishwasher? do i need to get the seal out and clean that differently?

My Dish washer is just big enough to stick the bucket in too if I take the top rack out

oh wow, good call. i'm gonna do that. i'm not sure if i can get the top rack out, i'll have to check
