I just picked up a GE mini fridge for $60 on CL. Looks great, has a single door and the super cool former homebrewer Gregg let me pick it up after work(11:00pm).

I've already determined that the top is good to go through for my tap tower, and I've already de-skinned the inner door to accommodate the corny keg.

The only problem that I see is that the freezer tray itself IS the evaporator coil... And with the hump in the rear, it's just to shallow to put my 6.5 carboy in. If the freezer tray wasn't there, I could just put a board in there and set the carboy on it and have a dual purpose box....

Any suggestions??

After reading some posts, which I should have done first, I found that I was approaching the situation the wrong way. I can just "roll" the chill plate down and everything will be fine. I saw it as protruding off of the back wall and then saw others mods, and realized that it would lay flat. I will post pics of my complete dual use box in a couple days.
