Did you guys have to reenroll in lottery? I thought I was reenetered each time with improved odds but got no notification.

If you entered the lottery previously there was no need to reenter. It's supposedly weighted as well so that you have a better chance to score a spot each subsequent time (I've had no luck in 2 years now...).

Also, anyone needing a proxy, feel free to hit me up as I'm happy to help out.

Ok, did anyone who did not win get a "sorry better luck next time" notification? Just trying to figure out if the silence means I did not win or if I was dropped.

My entry should have carried over just like yours, and I haven't received an email notification either.

I assume the silence means we get to try again for the 6th edition.

Just got the "thanks for your interest, but unfortunately..." email. So if you haven't heard anything, expect that's coming soon.

Like my memes old school.

Opened one a few weeks ago.

Not holding up too well....

One of those beers that if stored correctly the entire time, is still really nice. That being said, most were likely stored in 76degree closets, not in a beer fridge, shipped several times throughout the country and is faded at this point.

To the best of my knowledge, 1st or 2nd owner, and stored around 65 year round. Likely some light though (artificial, not actual sun).

How was the one you had recently? You said not too well but was it just faded or oxidized? Just curious.

I opened one a few months back and it was thick and full of cherries and a touch of barrel. Tasted like one of those dark chocolate coverage cherries if you added a couple drops of bourbon to it. Glad it was shared with me.

Even with that said, I wouldn't trade for one at this point given other reviews, including your's.

Just had one a few month back at one of Dr. Bill's things. It was stellar. Assume it was probably ideally cellared.

I had a taste of one earlier this year and it was still good. I also have one in the fridge that has been there since I bought it and plan on drinking it during a holiday share. Fingers crossed because it was easily one of my favorite stouts.
