Hey Everyone!!

Not sure if I put this in the right spot or not, so if it needs to be moved please feel free.

I made up a batch of Cider for my Fiance, that we are actually going to be giving away as wedding favors for our wedding.

I used this recipe:

My question is that in the commotion of eating dinner, bottling and obviously drinking I forgot to add the campden tablets. I was planning on popping one open to check carbonation everyday starting at 3 days in the bottles. Once I had the carbonation level I liked I was going to pasteurize on the stove top, so I don't end up with Bottle Bombs.

Did I screw it up not adding the campden tablets? What is the difference going to be now that I didn't do that step?

Thanks for your help!!!

Campden helps neutralize foreign yeast. If you're pasteurizing, you're golden.
