There are hundreds of different varieties of cider, so your question is very very subjective.

First off, I assume you are talking about HARD cider, correct? Do you like dry cider, bitter cider, sweet cider, carbonated cider, non-carbonated, etc.???

Blackthorne is a good mass produced cider brand that's made in the UK. Scrumpy Jack and Churchwards are good hard ciders that are a bit more of "craft" brands made in the UK. All make pretty much all varieties of ciders. Start there.

I don't know if they distribute in the UK, but my favorite here in the states (other than my own) is Fox Barrel, if you see that anywhere.

The real mass-produced cider swill in the UK is Strongbow. If that's your idea of good, then you aren't going to like anything other than carbonated, sweet, non-dry ciders.

Hope that helps a bit!!
