Cider bubbling into air lock

I just started my 1 gallon batch of hard cider, and it's bubbling into the airlock. I put vodka, so no yeast should be able to grow, but I'm wondering if it's something to worry about.

Nope, but if you can and have the equipment, may be good to put on a blowoff tube for the first couple days. If not, just clean it up and put it back on.

That's odd. I do one gallon batches because I do not have room for 5 gallon buckets at the moment and haven't had any blow off issues with cider or wine. How full is your jug?
