Hello yall. I used to be a home brewer years ago but didn't stick with it. I made only beer back then. Got rid of all my equipment and regret it now, but that's life. I have decided to try some simple cider and wine brewing since we have a pear tree and plum tree. I have some gunk growing in my apple cider and found this site and thought I could gain some insite on what that fuzz might be. Looks like a great place to learn from the experienced brewers! I will post some photos of the offending growth soon. Thanks! :ban:
 
Some people see fermentation and think something is wrong,it may not be fuzz just fermentation.That is what I was meaning.
 
I did post photos, but they're in the cider forum. It's kinda jelly like. I think it might be trying to make vinegar.
