I went to a small brewery/restaurant and ordered one of their Pilsners. It came in a traditional style pilsner glass. The beer looked hazy but tasted fine(not contaminated). I notices on a clip board it said pils whrl 14:10 to 14:40 whrl 15:10 to 15:40 and so on for 3+ hours if it is military time. Is this an on and off schedule of their whirlpool? I know this is vauge but I want to learn as much as I can.

In my opinion the only reason to whirlpool on a schedule is to add hop aroma etc that would be to style in a lager. So I'm guessing that its to drop trub. I'd guess you'd be fine doing a whirlpool and letting it sit to drop the trub for a few minutes then draining. Just my two cents.
