Chili Pepper Question

So I was going to spray my Chili Peppers with Starsan before I put them in the secondary, but I forgot. The Chili Peppers are the ones just lying in piles at a fruit stand. How screwed am I? Cheers!

You may be fine depending on the pH and alcohol content of the beer hindering spoiling organisms, but you'll find out sooner than later.

When I add to secondary I usually boil/steam them in a little bit of water and dump the whole thing in.
