Hi everyone.

Registered to learn about other home-brew experiences. Have no experience myself.

Actually waiting for my first batch of dutch lager to "drop". Went to a class here in Chicago (BEV-ART) where they brewer's hold your hand through the entire process. Nice enough but I think I'll be buying my own home kit in the mean time and starting a parallel batch or pale ale.

Cheers!!

How is the weather? I grew up in a little place called Crete, about 20 miles south of Chitown. Hated the cold, wind & snow in the winters.

Starting with lagers really takes some self control. Months of waiting vs. weeks for ales.
