Chest freezer prices lowered

Just noticed The price on the 5 cf holiday
Chest freezer was 129. Maybe
I'm crazy but last week
It was 157. Hmmm? Looks
Like I will be making a purchase.

I would go as big as you can, I wish I got a bigger one than my 7cf.

With 5 cu ft, I was concerned about rigging up a blowoff setup, though I was never able to test it. I just got a new-ish Kenwood that's ~13-14cu ft off Craigslist for $150, and I thought I paid a bit too much....might want to check something like that out if you live in/near a decent sized city.

On the contrary, I have 3 - 7 cu ft Magic Chefs and put them on big casters. They are my ferm chambers (one is a keezer). I never lift a full keg. Just roll the chamber over to the boil kettle.

For those interested in low profile stuff, the 7 is the best size, IMO. 6 taps!!!
