Just doing my first batch of turbo cider.

It smells quite cheesy, is this normal? I tried some and it tasted okay.

I've heard of mousiness or smelling like bread, but not cheese.

When you say "tubro", what do you mean? Yeast, speed, or something else? Could you post your recipe and process, including containers used?

I havent used any chems, its basically just apple juice and yeast inside a DJ.

Mixed 1L of juice with yeast...left for one day
Added the rest of the Juice (4L) and added nutrient (boiled and mashed sultanas, strained)

Tested 8 days later, tastes ok, just smells a bit funky!
