Hehe made me laugh a little. Plus I get to repurpose my son's onezies. That's a red Dimond one gallon jug with bubbler that's been repurposed as well. Wife is a conservation teacher. So if i can brew beer and reduce and reuse wife is happy. Win win for me. Anyone else got a good fermenter or starter cover.

As a Dad I must say I support this repurposing effort you've made.

Bravo!

I saw this a few weeks ago. I haven't tried it yet but thinking about making one for next winter. My basement is pretty consistent in the mid 60's but in the winter it drops slightly. I would hate to drop below 60.

That is pretty cool, good call!

Do you have a reason for using an airlock on a starter? I believe most people would recommend using a piece of sanitized foil or a foam plug to allow O2 to get in for optimum results.

Pretty cool. I just use a black garbage bag to cover my fermenter. Blocks all the light and doesn't insulate at all.

That's what I'm doing for my big fermenter. I use painter's plastic 4mil. I use a 30gal brute trash can for large brews for my self and my brew club. The painters plastic stops fruit flies and critters from getting in. Works really well. I'll share pics of you want to see it.

I use the shirts I still like but are too ragged to wear. Pretty sure I still have a Belgian golden strong sitting around in a Leftover Crack shirt
