Silly question, but does BMW sell fermcap-s or other foam control? I don't see it anywhere on your site.

I'm looking for a bazooka screen (you have it), a recipe or two, and foam control drops.

So far I cant find a site that sells both in the same place... weird.

i'm sure Ed will be along to answer this, but i think i remember seeing in another thread that he has ordered them and should get them in soon (again, i think). He is working on several revisions and upgrades to his site and should take them live soon, but until then do what you did and ask.

I couldn't find biscuit malt last night because i only tried 'searching' for it. A quick email to ed and i was back in business.

We do sell some anti foam, that should come in today. If it does (I say if because it has been out of stock so many times) then I will put in back on the website. I also have some FermCap S on order and should be ready for the website sometime this weekend.

As Donner has said, please just ask me any questions you have. You can email me, [email protected], PM me, or call. Everything comes back to me and my blackberry, so if I am awake I will answer your email, calls, or PMs.

Disclosure: If you get a response late at night it may or may not be coherant. This is especially true on the weekends. :drunk:

I just priced out my next recipe, and the prices look very good. One question though, I'm not quite ready to brew yet, is there a way to save the custom recipe for when I'm ready? Or will I need to assemble the recipe again later? I created an account and logged in, but didn't see a wish list or anything.

For the short term you should just be able to leave it in the shopping cart after you click "buy this beer". It's imperfect but it will work

Thats cool. Thanks for the quick replies. I really appreciate knowing that my hard earned cash goes into the hands of an honest community supporter that knows what real values are, and truly understands his customers. Keep up the good work.

Well, I am going to have to go against the grain here and call "BS" on Brewmaster's! I know every time I order something, Ed himself pack my stuff with some special "super static-charged peanuts from hell" knowing I am going to have those damn things stuck to my cubicle walls, filing cabinets, inside my pant legs.....freakin' everywhere..... And laughs like hell the whole time! You are an evil man Ed! :D

Honestly, and all BS aside, I do order everything I can from Brewmaster's for two or three reasons.
1) I have chatted and spoken with Ed on several occasions. he is committed to his customers and is a great guy.
2) He will bend over backwards to make sure you get what you need.
3) If I order by early afternoon, my stuff is in my hands the following day. (I know this is geographical, but is great regardless)
4) Ed is "one of us" here on HBT and sort of has his hands on the pulse so to speak.

I would like to make a request for the BMW site. I order a lot by sight. It would be a huge benefit if you would include thumbnails and/or pics for your products..... and a little more information if possible, or at least where applicable. For example, I want to order some 5/16" ID hose for my co2, and I would like red hose designed for co2. However, the site only says '5/16" tubing', so I can't tell if I will get 5/16" clear vinyl or red gas hose or what...

I hear you on more pics and expanding the descriptions. I am working on it, but it is taking a lot longer than I thought it would.

P.S. - Bull your next order is coming in an oversized box with about 6 million peanuts. :mug:

It'd be even better if he only ordered a poppet for a keg:ban:

Any easy way to know when it gets put on the site? I've got a recipe and order queued up in my browser...

Also, foam peanuts? :(
I kinda stopped using AHS because of them damned things..

The anti foam is back on the website. You can find it here.

Unfortunately the foam peanuts are the least expensive and easiest way for us to package orders. If I changed over to something else I would have to raise the shipping price to accommodate the extra cost. :(

The peanuts are annoying, but not terrible. I think you'll be impressed with how well Ed packages everything. If your dislike of the peanuts outweighs how impressed you are with Ed's business then you are a very tough person to impress.

Cool, just charge The Pol whatever the additional costs are for my orders. You know those danged fly-boys are knocking down the big bucks! :D

Every one of my orders arrived in pristine condition because of those blasted things. So all things considered, I am not dissatisfied at all. I just don't want to miss out on a chance to bust Ed's chops. He knows it is all in good fun. ;)
Of course, now my next order will arrive on a flat bed packed in 47 cubic feet of those things just to get even with me. :cross: Not so bad now that I think about it though. I could pack my boss's BMW to the rim..... BWAAAHAAAHAAA!!!

Thanks for the update.
I understand the cost factor, I just hate dealing with them. How about a peanut return policy?? :D

You know, it just hit me this morning..... wouldn't that be like matter and anti-matter? Just squirt a little anti-foam in the box and all the peanuts disappear.... I am going to do a little research for you Ed. I may be onto something here. Well, if it still looks like a good idea AFTER I have some coffee that is. :D

Ed... if they were corn starch... we could MASH them!!!!!!!!!!

Everybody is happy!

ok... wandering back out to watch my hefe boil.....

Ed, when I start my business I'm going to contract with you as my PR/Marketing Consultant. I've never seen a startup develop such loyalty so fast before. You and Corey keep up the good work!

I don't mind the peanuts, I just pack them in a garbage bag I keep in the garage, then when I send brews to people I send them onward so someone else can enjoy :)

Thanks. The PR/Marketing was very easy for me, since I already knew where there was a lot of homebrewers. Right here on HBT. As far as the loyalty I have been pleasantly surprised just how loyal our customers have been. Of course when you focus on customer service and trying to be proactive with communication then customers will be pleased with what you do.
