Had a conversation with Anthony, the owner of Carolina Brew Supply, and we can work together to set up a group buy in the near future with his homebrew shop as the pickup point for the area. We'll need to work out the details so more to come there. Please reply if interested in participating. With enough interest, we can make this happen!

We are working out the details on setting up the group buy. Will start a new thread soon with the information. Thank you for all the interest. We will just need to meet a minimum order to make this happen and benefit from the lower cost.

Just an update. We are planning to do a fall pick up on this. I'm working with the owner of Carolina Brew Supply to nail down pricing and varieties. I hope to have a list here next week. The owner is a busy guy. Thanks for your patience.

Ok folks, the time has come. Carolina Brew Supply is ready to start taking orders for this group buy. Please review the below list of grains available and post here what you are interested in buying.

* We allow splitting of sacks, in 10 LB increments. We will need a minimum of 40+ bags (or 2000 lbs) for this to happen. We'll be soliciting through our local home brew club as well for additional participants.

Time frame we are currently aiming for (subject to meeting our minimum) is ordering through end of September, allowing for 2-4 weeks for payment, 2 weeks for delivery and pickup. That said, we're thinking beginning of November time frame for pickup.

* Payment and Pickup will be facilitated through Carolina Brew Supply in Rock Hill, SC. Once we have a full order, we will be reaching out to you to get your information (Name, Email, Phone #). Then, Anthony (owner of the LHBS) will follow up to collect payment, which will occur via their website or in-store. You MUST pick up your grain on the day of the pickup, arrange someone to pick it up for you, or work out an arrangement with Anthony to store it.

* If you fail to pick up your grains, or make arrangements for others to pick up your grains, you are solely responsible for your grains at this point! Failure to pickup your grains after one week from the original pickup date will result in you forfeiting your grains and full payment.

* The prices posted on this post are not to be shared as normal pricing. This is exclusive to this group buy ONLY!

* If successful, we are looking to facilitate a group buy regularly throughout the year (not sure yet on cadence).

I would like

1 proximity unmalted wheat 30$
4 avangaard pilsner 36
1 muntons maris otter 52

I will get back to you with any adds from my club

Throwing my order placeholder here...

1 x Avangard Premium Wheat - $36
1 x Avangard Premium Pilsnen - $36
1 x Avangard Premium 2-row - $36

Also, if a couple people go in to split any malt bags, I'll be interested in some:

- Munich Light
- Vienna
- Maris Otter

I’m in for:

1 x Avangard Premium Pilsnen - $36

And am willing to split a sack of Munich if it comes back in stock.

Which Munich are you looking for? There's some available in the list. I'm happy to split Munich with you.

Huh, didn’t see the others. I’d say anything not from the US would be fine. I’ve never used it before so if you have a preference I will defer to you.

I don't have a preference. I've never tried Swaen before. I think they are from Netherlands. They have a Munich Light which is 5-6L and Munich Dark which is 6-10L. There's also the GoldSwaen Munich Light but that's a bit darker at 30-40L. What degree of Munich were you looking for?

Joe D wants

2 Avangaard Pilsner- 72
1 Avangaard Vienna- 38
1 Avangaard D Munich- 40
1 Avangaard Wheat - 36
1 Sekado Czech Bo pils - 40

Let’s go with the Swaen Light. Thanks for your help figuring out the differences!
