CFC - 18 ft copper 3/8 found

So I was moving some stuff around in the garage and came acorss approx 18 ft of 3/18 copy tubing. This was cut from the line set for my AC install years ago.

Is 18 ft worth the trouble of building a CFC to augment my existing IC?

You could use it as a pre-chill coil in a bucket of ice, I would think.

I did the exact same build and it works fine for me. 20 feet of 3/8 copper and a 3/4 inch hose. I would say go for it. I like my CFC a lot more than my plate chiller
