Has anyone ever used Danstar CBC-1 cask and bottling yeast? I am going to rack a hard Rootbeer to a secondary to add sweetener and flavoring and I feel when racking to secondary there is a bit of yeast lost when comes to bottling. I want the hard Rootbeer to be nicely carbonated and frothy just like a good draft Rootbeer so I was wondering if this would help that.

Transferring to secondary would definitely leave enough yeast to bottle condition, but I personally don't see where you would have problems doing it. I've only ever used it once and it was on an RIS that I wan't confident in after 3 months of bulk aging. Came out fine.
