I have a True TDD-2 that I bought from a bar going out of business and cleaned up. I'd like the ability to move it, but it's not on casters. I've seen a few OEM options online, but they're insanely expensive. Has anyone had success adding casters? Know what I should be looking for?

Look underneath and see what size casters you think you'd need. I'd say any from Harbor Freight, Lowe's, etc, would be just as good as OEM (probably the same). Worst case scenario, you could make a dolly with some oversized casters for the kegerator to sit on. Many of us have done that with our keezers.

My kegerator, a Komos, has the smaller standard casters on it. I've thought about changing them, but it's not a high priority item for me right now.

A cursory look at the situation implies there may or may not be bolt patterns for directly mounted casters. I found some TDD-2 specific solutions that attach pairs of casters to two metal brackets that the chassis is set upon and bolted in place, but then I found other claimed TDD-2 casters that do directly bolt in place. Prices for a full set of either range from $400 to $700+. Seriously? They're friggin' casters, ffs! :)

Anyway, if one could figure out what the actual geometry has to offer I'm sure castercity.com can solve it for hella less $$$ than what I ran into...

Cheers! (and good luck!)
