Not sure why I have never used them before. Purchased a variety of 1# bags of hops from hops direct couple years ago. Looking through them few weeks back noticed I had Cashmere, did some research and thought would make a very nice light summer ale. Used Cashmere for bittering and flavoring no dry hops.
I am impressed with the aromatics, smooth bitterness, and taste of these hops using the clean strain of BRY-97 yeast.
A more pronounced flavor than Cascade but not the same.
I am enjoying the 3 week old, semi carbed, total of 3 1/2 oz in 10 gallon batch of hop goodness (note: these hops are several years old stored vacuumed sealed in freezer).
Not being a hop head I do enjoy them when they meld well with the malt bill...thinking of Summit EPA
