I am headed to Vail to watch the bouldering world cup after the release. If anyone wants to open bottles in the crowd at the GoPro games and watch some fit europeans kick the american climbers asses, feel free to join me.
Wish I could make it. Share a little Casey with Adam Ondra ;)

Maybe if I run into him in the Park after the comp. Although I get the impression he takes thing seriously enough he probably isn't too into drinking while climbing. But I do plan on hauling some bottles up to various pretty places to drink. I'll post some photos in the backcountry beer pics thread I started.

I want to say I saw on Instagram that he said September at the earliest.

You saw it. No Apricot or Sweet Cherry Cut before September. I wouldn't be surprised if he has some tastings at the August release.

I'll be doing the Casey Cannonball Run this Saturday myself, mainly because July is going to be insane. Hotel prices will be double or worse, and traffic will be unbelievable, since half the Front Range heads to the mountains that weekend every year. No way will I bring the family up for that. Not to mention all of the posts from out of staters planning to attend.

Not worth it for me, although I'm sure it will be a blast of a party for the hardy souls who take it on.

Anybody know the bottle counts on the Saison and Oak Theory magnums? I have a gopickitupformebro in place and I'm a curious mofo.

New developments today from the minor Facebook meltdown. Tickets will be handed out for magnums to discourage line cutting/late mule arrivals.

Meltdown? Come on now...that was a very reasonable complaint, discussion, and decision by Troy. Seriously, I wish more breweries would actually listen to legitimate complaints. I thought that was a well handled situation all around. Good on Troy for listening and doing something to address it. It's ******** that stuff like that happens, so hopefully this ends it.

I said minor meltdown. Not Florida or Michigan level meltdown.

We got there at 9:15 and it looked like everybody there before about 9:30 or so got tickets (for Cut). About 15 people behind us. 10AM was probably JUST too late. He handled it extremely well, awesome to hand out tickets and solve any problems with people arriving late and trying to cut ahead. Very smooth, very busy, and very very good beer!

I think the release went really well

I think most of the chatter was from people that underestimated the turnout and then were pissed that they didn't get everything handed to them. Giving out ticket was a great idea because it silenced pretty much anything to do with "line jumping" because the ticket guaranteed the beer.

I think the next move is lottery for the magnums if he wants to go that way.
