I think the release went really well

I think most of the chatter was from people that underestimated the turnout and then were pissed that they didn't get everything handed to them. Giving out ticket was a great idea because it silenced pretty much anything to do with "line jumping" because the ticket guaranteed the beer.

I think the next move is lottery for the magnums if he wants to go that way.
I think the lottery should deb done for the small release stuff i.e. 116 bottles Cut. Would it alleviate people showing up too damn early?

Then who shows up to buy all the other bottles and beers being served at the bar? Within reason, crowds are a good thing. So is hype and people excited to get the beer. This crowd was perfectly reasonable.

I still think that half the reason some people show up so early is because of the 3 hour drive. If you're not a morning person, getting there at 2am may be perceived as a lot easier then getting there at 8 or 9 am. Moving the event back 2 hours might reduce some of the camping out as well.

I think the crowds will come with a lottery or a tix for cuts, mags etc and you know it to Bill. Sooner or later you're gonna have people there the night before and that's unfair to Troy and the property, just my 2 cents

Ding ding ding... We have a winner!

I'll get there between 10pm-1am everytime over having to wake up @ 4 then drive for 3 hours.

I can almost guarantee that's what it's named after. Troy has said he's a huge fan of old school hip hop, even named his new fruit fermenters "Eric B." and "Rakim" IIRC.

Agreed. He also confirmed that hip hop was also the inspiration behind "the cut".
