Sorry, I've been watching old episodes on Beavis & Butthead on the Netflix...
I've had success tying a nail to a string and using a "flexible extension grabber tool" to thread the nail through the hole on the stopper and pull it back out, then i have both ends of the string and can pull it back out.

I am sure BMC have worse in their beer I will have to take my chances since I cannot fish it out without moving the beer again.
