With my last two beers i have made the beer that comes out of the fermentor is carbonated. I know this sounds impossible but when i take a hydrometer sample i either have to wait overnight before i can get an accurate sample because its so carbonated or i have to shake it and let the head die down at least 10 times. When i take a sip to test the taste the beer tastes carbonated just like it would out of a keg or bottle. I know its not fermentation bubbles because the gravity has been 1.009 for 2 weeks but the airlock has still been consistantly bubbling every minute or so. Im afraid to bottle my beer because i don't want to end up with bottle bombs. has anybody else experienced this before? could it be some sort of issue with gas not being able too escape from the airlock easily enough?

What you are experiencing is the residual CO2 that is still in suspension in the beer.

This is why it is important to know the temperature if the beer when calculating priming sugar. The amount of CO2 left in the beer is dependent of the Ferm temp. This additional information helps proper calculation so you add the proper amount of priming sugar to properly carbonate in the bottle.

If the beer does not totally ferment out then adding additional sugar to prime in bottling is what usually causes bottle bombs.
