I have a carbing question in regards to my awaiting drunken farmer saison. I looked at northern brewer priming calculator and it shows a saison as 3.0. I've never attempted that and was curious to know if there's cause for concern or not? I have not had any issues with the bottles of IPA thar I've capped buy again I didn't set it up for a 3.0 carb level either. Any one have experience with this?

3 vols should be fine. But to be honest, I carbonate my saison to 2.5 to 2.7. If I go much above that, it's really hard to pour from a bottle and/or you need to extend your taps lines from the keg.

I carbed my last Hefeweizen to 3.5 vols and have had no problem with the bottles (no bombs).
