i want to keg my belgian golden strong ale, but i want to bottle a few of them in case i want to turn them in for competition.
i bought carb tabs, thinking they would be easier for individual bottles than measuring tiny amounts of sugar
the BGSA is supposed to be carbed to 4 volumes- is this more than the 'high carbonation' on the muntons carb tabs package? it says to use 5 tabs for high carbonation- is that enough for a belgian
also, can i expect this pressure to be too much for a normal (ex-sierra nevada) bottle, or will it be ok?
any help would be appreciated
