I was reading in the forum where someone had advised to use salted caramel coffee syrup for flavoring in cider. I wanted to make a Caramel Apple Cider also...when I looked at the syrups available in the stores by me all of them have potassium stearate in them...I had read somewhere that this stops the yeast from fermenting and/or carbonating ? If so, what can I use to get a successful salted caramel brew by late October. Family Halloween Party want to suprise them. Thanks in Advance.
