Gravity reading at packaging?
Also even cold and under pressure, the Nottingham will likely keep slowly working in the keg, so the cider will evolve with time. I might try it with a small batch.

Whenever you find yourself asking this question, the answer is almost always Yes.

I don't do readings because why?
Because it helps answer questions like the one you’re asking.

Do you have to? Nope. You, and many others, have proven its very easy to make alcohol without taking gravity readings. Here comes the “but”. But, when you want to replicate results or fully understand what’s happening, it helps.
