Can i use this to cool a fermentation chamber?

I'm fairly new to home brew stuff but i would like a fermentation chamber. Would i be able to use this with a temp controller to rig up a fermentation chamber?

I realize I'd have to build the chamber and probably break down this cooler/dispenser a bit to get to the heat pump though...

Looks like it was discontinued. Also looked like a 12v system as well. I would think you could buy a dorm fridge for 50 bucks and make a good chamber out of it

I've got one sitting in my basement, and it comes with an AC adapter.

How many cans would it hold and keep cool. Most 12 volt systems at least the ones I have used will not cool the cans down and struggle to keep cold cans cold. I am thinking that it might work if you are borderline on your temps but I doubt it

NP i was just hoping to use something thats been sitting in a box for years, and because of that i really dont know how well/poorly it keeps the cans cold.

Dang man that is cool though. To bad you cannot use it for cans in a mancave or something

Keep the dispenser for the BMC drinkers and save the homebrew for those that can appreciate it.
